My Crime

My crime was not that I wore wrong clothes

My crime was not that I was out till late

My crime was not that I wanted to live my life with my friends

My crime was not that my parents never discriminate in girl and boy

My crime was not that I had big dreams

My  crime was not that I wanted to be a boy for my family to support

My crime was not that I was from small town so I had to come down in metro city

My crime was not that I spread my wings to fly

My crime was That I was a Girl

And that I born in the country where women is being worshipped in books and preaches

Where Culture and morality are the words to boast in society to stop girls to go ahead

Where being women is the biggest Crime…
